He is interested in music – sings mountain folk songs and performs in folk band. At high-school, as a musically precocious teenager, is the leader of rock band Lotony.
On one December Saturday Andrzej Dziubek in a dramatic way escapes across the border of Poland.
During the carpenter work at the refugee camp in Austria Andrzej
Dziubek loses his three fingers of his left hand. The legend says that the
accident happened as a result of the gunshot incident with Czech border
soldiers. The dreams about playing the guitar seem to be burried.
Rebirth comes with the new wind of punk rock.
With the help of Royal Norwegian Charity Andrzej goes to Norwegia and attends school, then
studies at the Academy of Arts in Oslo.

Andrzej Dziubek – using the nickname Andrej Nebb, Jørn Christensen and Ola Snortheim start De Press band in Oslo.
New music was already underway. The first album emerges called Block To Block. The material is a combination of mountain folk inspiration with punk music and political engagement. De Press attracted favourable press and TV and the band performs on TV. At last, the band comes to Poland and performs at Gdansk Shipyard, Sopot, Warsaw. But next concerts were canceled after Dziubek was found guilty of illegally crossing across the border. The debut album, not available in Poland, gets a lot of attention and brings the popularity. In Norway it is called as the most important rock album of XX century.
After releasing On The Other Side the band suspends its activity. Andrzej Dziubek plays in the band Holy Toy, but De Press had its label as the one of the most important band of Norway.
Reactivation of De Press results in many albums such as: - 3 Potocki (reedition of Bolshov Trio), Groj skrzypko groj, Potargano chałpa, Dwie tęsknoty. The band performs many concerts and some musicians from Nowy Targ join the group.
